Hayley obtained her M.H.Sc. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto in 2021. During her studies, Hayley began working in the Language Sciences Lab with individuals with chronic aphasia post-stroke and primary progressive aphasia, under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Rochon and Dr. Tijana Simic. Hayley is working clinically in the Ottawa community with both adult and paediatric populations. Hayley’s clinical and research interests include understanding the optimal ways to provide speech, language, and swallowing services based on a patient’s stage in rehabilitation (i.e., acute, subacute, community)
