Language Sciences Lab
Research activities in our lab are focused on understanding language and communication difficulties in individuals with neurological disorders, in particular, patients with Alzheimer’s disease, primary progressive aphasia (PPA) and stroke. With a multidisciplinary group of colleagues and trainees, current research projects focus on aphasia treatment studies, functional neuroimaging studies, longitudinal analyses of language and neural changes in PPA and communication interventions for caregivers of individuals with dementia.
